Mountain Goat

Section 7 (c) of the Forest Planning and Practices Regulation states the objective set by government for wildlife is, without unduly reducing the supply of timber from British Columbia’s forests, to conserve a sufficient amount and distribution of areas that provide necessary wildlife habitat for the winter survival of specified ungulate species.

The Cariboo-Chilcotin Land-Use Plan 90 Day Report, specifies that Mountain Goat be managed. See page 156 of the report.

See section 5 of the Schedule under the Forest Planning and Practices Regulation for factors relating to land use objectives.
