projection BC Albers Equal Area. Please see the following Web page for parameters, http://www.ilmb.gov.bc.ca/risc/pubs/other/mappro/map.htm.
warnings Data for areas within Tree Farm Licences is based on old, poor quality forest cover
Please consult the "Infestation Projection" report, available at http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/hre/bcmpb, to obtain further information regarding the current infestation projection.
We are reasonably confident in the model's observed and projected infestation estimates at the PROVINCIAL and DISTRICT SCALES, but the specific progression of the outbreak at finer scales, such as a "watershed" or a "pixel", is most likely wrong because theses finer scales exceed the resolution of the model.
The projection provided is one instance of the output from a stochastic model. It is a projection of what might happen rather than a prediction of what will happen. Please use and interpret the data accordingly.

Value = 10 times the Cumulative percentage of the pine that has been killed

Note = Grid values are the estimate of the percentage of the pine volume that has been killed (red or grey attack only)
