Name: Seedlot Area of Use (AOU) Spatial Data
 
Purpose: Zipped Spatial data for Seedlot Area of Use
Data has not yet been made available in BCGW / DataBC, so this is the only way to distribute
Data has been zipped using 7z software for maximum compression.

ClassA - is Class A (orchard) seedlots for Tested Parent Tree Areas of Use. There are 36 of these AOUs. Each one applies to multiple seedlots.
ClassA_Untested - is for Class A (orchard) seedlots from untested parent trees. There are 51 untested seedlot AOUs.
ClassB - is Class B (natural stand) seedlots.  Some AOU shapes will apply to more than one seedlot. There are 3111 seedlot AOU shape files for Class B seedlots.

 
Note: Data is current as of June 2014. Seedlots registered since that date do not yet have a spatial Area of Use.
Some older seedlots do not have spatial Area of Use at this time.
Some Class B seedlots have been updated to correct or add Biogeoclimatic zone/subzone/variant data since June 2014.

The file SeedlotExtractReport_2014_07_04_active.xlsx lists active registered seedlots as of June 2014, 
with the Seed Planning Zone, Area of Use elevation range, Area of Use latitude/longitude range for Class B and untested Class A.
