The person responsible for posting these folders to the BCTS Prince George website 
are the authors shown above.  For convenience we have noted the position of the person
responsible for each folder. All folders are updated regularly and are not to be deleted.


Contract Opportunities and Contract Tenders:

These are the means to advertise all BCTS contracts available for tender and the results 
of the tendering process. The Contract Opportunities file only transfers the viewer to another
corporate applications, BC Bid. The Contract_Tenders file ensures open disclosure of the
bidding process and our efforts at achieving best value for money in BCTS operations projects.

EMS Folders:

Are directed at our contractors and licensees to provide them with information on our standards
for environmental management integrity when involved in all phases of the timber harvesting cycle.

GIS and GPS Standards

This folder contains the current standards for the Prince George TSO containing provincial and
local customisation of the GPS standards of the day to be used in Contract Schedules and easily made
available to Contractors completing any spatial work on our behalf.

Planning

Provide outside clients, proponents and the public with information pertaining to planning activiites
within the Prince George Business Area.

Forest Stewardship Plans:

Provide the members of the public with information on the status of BCTS’s efforts in  the completion 
of our regulatory obligations on managing the landbase as a requirement of the Forest and Range
Practices Act.

Sales Schedules and Sales Results:

Both are spreadsheets updated monthly on the website to inform our clients of timber sales
offered for sale in the fiscal year. Sales Results identifies who the successful bidder was 
for each sale that was sold. This is a requirement to be able to demonstrate an open and 
transparent public auction process as required by government policy and regulation. 

SFMS:

Provides the public and our staff access to our Sustainable Forest Management Plans for the three areas within the Prince George Business Area where BC Timber Sales maintains a Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Sustainable Forest Mangagement certification.  

Genus Contractors:

provides information to BCTS contractors and licensees on the standards for entering information 
into the GENUS database as part of their contractual obligations. It contains copies of forms and 
manuals in a PDF format, and the originals are stored on internal government files elsewhere.
