Channel complexity reduced by continuous down-cutting of riffle surface. Bed uniformly coarser. Pools make up approximately one-quarter of the channel length. Pools are uniformly shallow with only rare pools exceeding 0.5 m in depth. LWD pieces are less numerous and oriented primarily parallel to the channel banks. Log jams are common. |
