Generally:
Stone lines becoming less continuous; diamond and "net" shapes not obvious. Bed is becoming coarser-textured as fine sediments are excavated from the reach. Minor sections of channel bed consist of exposed bedrock. Pools represent <50% of the channel; flow is rapid through pools. Most stones not moss-covered. LWD plays an insignificant role in controlling channel pattern. |
