| Logan Lake Annual Forest Service Hockey
Tournament The Merritt Forest District recently hosted the long-running
annual Logan Lake Forestry Hockey Tournament. The event gives hockey wannabes an
opportunity to participate in a tournament that is organized to be fun, rather than
competitive. This year, five teams descended on the sleepy little town of Logan Lake
November 24-26 2000, from Lillooet, Quesnel, Kamloops, Merritt, and a Protection Branch
team.
Although there were no players like Jagr, Kariya, Yzerman, Bure, or even Domi, the
throngs of spectators found the action spirited and entertaining.
